Our municipality is home to 605 people in northeastern South Dakota. We are home to beautiful Big Stone Lake, a body of water known for its excellent fishing. We are also pleased to offer our citizens a prosperous industrial and manufacturing center, a reputable healthcare system, a quality school, and plenty of outdoor recreational activities.

City Council Meetings
The Big Stone City Council meets on the first Monday of every month at 5:30pm. Meetings are held in the Community Center located at 400 Washington Street in Big Stone City.
